Dua tahun lalu kami mengulas isle of me, pop rock hangat tentang mencintai diri sendiri. Kini lampunya dimatikan.
Drum yang padat, bassline synth yang berdenyut, synth gelap, dan arpeggiator genit yang terus berputar-putar seperti anak kecil mengelilingi meja makan. Begitu drop tiba, synth berbau hyperpop menyeruak dan kaki kita diam-diam ikut menghentak. Ia norak dengan penuh sadar (haha, sengaja betul).
Lagu Halloween biasanya sibuk dengan labu dan monster, sementara kita yang di daerah tropis lebih akrab dengan kuntilanak, yang toh juga gemar datang lagi dan lagi. Hantu di Deja Vu kiranya lebih dekat ke kuntilanak itu. Liriknya menempatkan pencerita sebagai sosok yang menghantui, yang tahu kekasihnya akan merangkak kembali walau sudah bilang selesai. Seram bukan?
Selesai, kembali. Kembali, selesai. Di penghujung lagu, Yunsae memilih membiarkan pintu tetap terbuka.
