Lagu ini tidak membuang waktu. Ketukan drum yang rapat dan bas yang memegang tempo langsung menyambut sebelum vokal Maya Allaire masuk, lalu harmoni vokal melebar begitu bagian puncak tiba. Ada aroma koboi yang ganjil di sela-selanya, seolah saloon dari film Western pindah ke kamar tidur seseorang dan lupa membawa kudanya. Yang dirayu Forbidden Fire sebenarnya kebiasaan buruk, bukan kekasih. Kita bisa menebak sendiri kebiasaan itu apa (gorengan jam sebelas malam? keranjang belanja daring?), sebab ia memanggilnya kamu, menyalahkannya, lantas menyerah begitu saja. Di ujung lagu, ia malah berseru “pass me the lighter”.
