Ini tentang menahan seseorang yang sebenarnya sudah hampir pergi lewat cara-cara kecil yang terasa putus asa namun jujur.

Latar yang agak melankolis terasa sepi membiarkan ruang dengar tetap bernapas tanpa dipenuhi banyak lapisan. Ritmenya bergulir lembut mengikuti alur perpisahan yang enggan usai, seperti lampu jalan yang berkedip stabil di tengah hujan deras.

“Tell me when we say goodbye, that our love won’t die” diucapkan dengan kejernihan yang menanggalkan kepura-puraan, sebuah permohonan sederhana untuk keabadian di tengah sesuatu yang jelas sudah berakhir.

Menjelang album keempatnya, Walk With Me, yang rilis November nanti, “Forgotten” jadi perkenalan yang cukup menusuk. Kadang pertanyaan paling sederhana di kegelapan justru yang paling sulit dijawab.
