Ia dibuka dengan dengung akustik bernuansa western yang menetap lama, dan suara mbak Jacqueline masuk rendah, malas, sedikit menggoda. Ada kesabaran yang diminta di sini, dan ia membayarnya selepas kait kedua, ketika lagu pecah jadi bagian psikedelik dengan solo gitar yang membuat kepala ikut terangguk pelan. Sekilas ala Mazzy Star, dan soft siren tidak merasa perlu menyembunyikannya.
Satu baris yang bikin saya tersenyum geli adalah “crying sitting in the shower”. Patah hati di bawah pancuran sudah terlalu sering kita dengar, dan di sini ia muncul tiga kali.
Selebihnya liriknya bergerak setengah-pasrah-setengah-rindu, tentang cinta yang sudah pergi dan Tuhan yang dianggap tidak adil. Premisnya ada di satu baris, “I told them to bury me in diamonds”, diulang-ulang sampai terngiang-ngiang. Permintaan terakhir yang mewah, untuk seseorang yang di bait lain mengaku tidak pernah diberi apa yang ia mau.
