Helena Hallberg – Good Consumer

Mungkin Good Consumer perlu diputar dulu sebelum checkout berikutnya.

Lirik Lagu Helena Hallberg – Good Consumer

Look out, I’m on the run
in search of anything that makes the blue fade
out for self help, di homemade shrink

out come the vultures make a good buck
on another “brand new me“phase
main character moment
as they say

but are you a problem
or are you a prize?
When they finally did catch you
what was their price?

So
run baby baby
run baby run
they’re all on your tail
and selling you something

you feel the weight of the world
they feel the wallowing mind
of a good consumer

run baby baby
run baby run
they mean so well
and you feel so dumb

after purchases made
when the dopamine fades
they took your money and left you behind

Here comes the holy roller
GLP injections, another gadget
dodging deals and treatments for your face

This supplemental that or other,
scientific gamble either way
you know that aging’s a disgrace

But are you a problem
Or are you a prize?
When they finally did catch you,
What was their price?

So
run baby baby
run baby run
they’re all on your tail
and selling you something

you feel the weight of the world
they feel the wallowing mind
of a good consumer

run baby baby
run baby run
they mean so well
and you feel so dumb

after purchases made
when the dopamine fades
they took your money and left you behind

But I agree
Retail therapy can get you on the hook, line and sinker
cause the worst comes to mind
When your face card declines

run baby baby
run baby run
they’re all on your tail
and selling you something

you feel the weight of the world
they feel the wallowing mind
of a good consumer
