Jordan Smith Reynolds – Wait Awhile

Lirik Lagu Jordan Smith Reynolds – Wait Awhile

Tracing the distance
Between you and me
The man that I've become
And the person that people see

But I am not so self assured
I flutter round
Like a flightless bird
Waiting for someone
To call me home
Oh

Won't you wait awhile
Walk along the sea
Trap the ghosts of your past
In the footprints that you leave
Trading time for trinkets
Fading with the seasons
I laugh so I won't cry anymore

Living in the shadow
Of a vision in my mind
The pressure is building
Building all the time

But nothing ever really lasts
And nothing ever comes to pass
'Less someone had
The heart to let it go

Won't you wait awhile
Walk along the sea
Trap the ghosts of your past
In the footprints that you leave
Trading time for trinkets
Fading with the seasons
I laugh so I won't cry anymore

Oh I need to know
There's a reason
Is it still blowing in the wind?

Won't you wait awhile
Walk along the sea
Trap the ghosts of your past
In the footprints that you leave
Trading time for trinkets
Fading with the seasons
I laugh so I won't cry anymore

Won't you wait awhile
Walk along the sea
Trap the ghosts of your past
In the footprints that you leave
Trading time for trinkets
Fading with the seasons
