“And I wanna be a sloth / And move at the speed of geologic time.”
Lirik Lagu Eliza Edens – Hot & Mean
She was kinda mean And she negged me on the regular Breadcrumbing Said she’d text me but she didn’t care Now she’s in my dreams Wearin’ a wet shirt and no underwear Head spinning I wanna love her but she’s just not there But she was kinda hot And she fucked me on the regular Tying me in knots Braidin’ heartstrings like Rapunzel’s hair And I am so exhausted Man I just wanna go to sleep I love you if you don’t fit in I love you even if you’re rude And I love it when you hate-watch me online and I love you so love yourself again I was kinda lost But I was lookin’ at the GPS Pointed me to Costco Took advantage of the free samples And I can get anything I want So why am I so down? Oh every little pleasure Is a little bit of pain I love the city lights But they drive me so insane And I wanna be a sloth And move at the speed of geologic time I love you if you don’t fit in I love you if you haven’t got friends I’ll admit I hate-watch Instagram But I love you so love yourself again Oh I love you so love yourself again We kiss and then we fight We cry and then we smile We dance into the night But the party’s in my mind And I can do anything I want So why am I so down? Oh why am I so down?
